National garage network Servicesure has announced a winner in its recent national competition.
The opportunity to win the ‘trip of lifetime’ was available from June until the end of November and was open to anyone, drawing thousands of hopeful entrants. In the end Thomas Docking from Manchester entered via the Servicesure Facebook page to scoop the prize.
Thomas said: “I got the call to say I’d won at work; it was amazing, I couldn’t believe it was real.
“We’ve just moved house so it couldn’t have come at a better time, we didn’t think we’d get a holiday at all next year.”
The trip for two, which is being organised on Thomas’ behalf by Round the World Experts, is a 14 day tour from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. It will cross 190 miles of the Western and Eastern Cape through lush vegetation, scenic lakes and old towns all along South Africa’s ‘Garden Route’.
Servicesure say the holiday offer was intended to celebrate a record-breaking year for the national garage network. With 130 new members joining, the overall network passed 500 for the first time ever at the end of October and now stands are 510 garages.
“We wanted to give something back with this prize,” said Paul Dineen, Head of Servicesure. “Motorists are choosing Servicesure in record numbers and that is in turn driving the growth in the garage network to meet consumer demand.”
Servicesure say the breadth and flexibility of the programme has been key in attracting garages. They in turn benefit from being by offering local customers savings on car maintenance with quality parts and the peace of mind that comes from dealing with a recognised brand offering a unique National Warranty Scheme.
